Calder Cottage
1 bedroom cottage | Sleeps 2
Our original cottage in Embleton and a firm favourite among guests. A traditional farm worker’s cottage with breath-taking views of Embleton Bay and a beautiful meadow garden.
Turner Cottage
1 bedroom cottage | Sleeps 2
Renovated in 2026 and neighbouring Calder Cottage in Embleton, Turner is so-named after the artist JMW Turner who was greatly inspired by this Northumbrian landscape
A tradition in farming
Emble is a family farming business with deep roots in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. For the last 50 or so years we have been here by the sea in north Northumberland.
We farm traditionally, regeneratively and innovatively, always with an eye on the long-term future of this unique protected landscape.
Emble is a mixed farm, producing beef and grains. Our award-winning premium beef is hill-bred and slow-grazed with totally traceable provenance.
Our rib eye steak was awarded 3 Gold Stars at the Great Taste Awards 2026.
